I’ve struggled with the idea of starting a blog for years. I remember when I was a teenager and my grandfather ( this man that has taught himself various things in business and he been a successful entrepreneur) told me he wrote blog posts for others. He was making money with his writing at that point. I was intrigued, but writing was a hobby for me with journal and poems so I thought it would be too much “work” for me. Now, learning and trying to find my way on my own business ventures I hear everyone has a blog and I like to read other peoples blogs. I was always interested but I thought “What would I write about?”
When Inspiration Strikes
The other day I was bingeing on Mimi G’s Business Shet Podcast. She tells about her blogging beginnings, publicly journaling about her sewing hobby leading her to figure out she like teaching the craft. Then I realized I could do something similar, but with a blog, I finally knew what I wanted to write about. I love learning more about self-development and various craft that I’m interested in ( designing clothes, photography, entrepreneurship, etc). Often, I find myself wanting to share things I’m currently learning, reading or doing. It’s even better when I have others reach back out to me about how they are doing the same.
Self Development Journey
Now that I’m a mother and wife and I noticed I don’t have a hearty group of families to follow that are growing and running businesses. It all takes balance which I am learning to do between working full time, learning about personal development and caring for my family. I also want to discuss my struggles as well as what helps me cope and “fix” them. I’m trying to raise my vibration in the Law of Attraction (LOA). I love reading tons of books on self-development and having people to interact with that are on similar journeys that I can help build up as well as they are able to help me in my journey. At the end of the day, I’m trying to find my artist and business purpose.
I am going to enjoy having a writing outlet for my self that others can join and chime in, so feel free to tell me about yourselves.
